In 2024, Brenk Sinatra came for another collaboration. he went nostalgic even further than before!
As the professional photographer Daniel Shaked, captured photos for this album in analog way, he knew that this vibe would work with Brenk's taste, and the photos came in an amazing fuzzy shape which draws a lot of nostalgia and retro style into the mind of audience. So as a designer, me, when watch the covers, thought about how I may could animate these noisy and blurred photographies.
Shots were too blurry, noisy and desaturated as a retro analogue style, and had lots of bold subjects and bokehs. I though inversed! I tried to think contrasting against harmonizing. Shots needed something tiny, shiny and edgy.
I thought about a surreal element that contrasts with the content, and by that the cover could be seen, like smudging an embossed paper to see the bumps!
So, I thought again and tried some elements like big bold shapes in background at first and then the lines (as you see in image).
I encouraged myself to perform every shot as a set beside a road, where seems like cars passing by and light the elements on the view, also something strange goes behind in the sky. You see the blazing light-lines turning on and off and make the elements and Brenk more visible in the shots and it is the contrast I was seeking.
So, I came up against dim light at twilights and light it up with unseen car lights, and sharpened blurry backgrounds with light lines thought it is quiet an idea... but Brenk wasn't so happy with that at first, I unfolded the proposal then even photographer Shaked enjoyed it with him.
And at last, here these are.
You can see separate light effects.
Second part of the project was something new, at least in its releasing medium by nature!
Brenk wanted to release a documentary along with release of album. Documentary is about himself, and his career, his experience and journey through music and inspiring things came through his way and ideas came through his mind for crafting his music.
He came with the dialogues he says in video and asked if it could bloom anything in our brain to create something out of it.
Me and Shahram Alizadeh offered a mix of video with elements, no separation from video section to avoid audience focus to be distracted fully. Just to chill and add some fun to main video.
I started to brainstorm with Shahram, we drew some sketches and shared our ideas with Brenk, he showed enthusiasm and then I started to work on motions and post productions of animations.
You can see the footage samples and sketches here. Also, you can watch full length documentary video on YouTube or jump to motion parts with times I shared.

My idea was to make paper or cardboard puppetry scene with a close lighting to merge the CGI with footage.
I decided to use Blender 3D software for this beside I used Rebell 5 to draw and color the drawings.
You see render of images of individual scenes here without being merge yet with video.
Please take your time here and look at the short motion arts, fully done.
